Mediation provides an
alternative to litigation through the courts.

What are the Benefits of Mediation?
Mediation may be less expensive than going to court.
Mediation is usually faster than going to court, it’s private and
confidential.
Mediation gives the parties a chance to craft an agreement which meets their
needs.
Mediation gives parties control over the outcome.
What Disputes can be Mediated?
Domestic Relations:
including divorce, custody, property division, parenting time & support.
Civil: including
contracts, fee disputes, landlord/tenant, employer/employee, money demands,
personal
injury, malpractice and property damages.
Juvenile: parenting
time & support, victim/offender restitution, dependency & neglect
matters.
Probate: including
guardianships, conservator ships and estate distribution.
Criminal: including
victim/offender restitution.
What will the Mediation Cost through ODR?
Domestic Relations =
$120 per hour / $60 per party, per hour, with both parties.
Juvenile = $120 per
hour / $60 per party, per hour, with both parties.
District Court Criminal = $120
per hour / $60 per party, per hour, with both parties.
District Court Civil & Probate
Cases = $150 per hour / $75 per party, per hour, with both
parties.
County Court Civil & Criminal = $100 per hour /
$50 per party, per hour, with both parties.
Small Claims = $60
per hour, $30 per party, per hour if both parties are present.
Government Agencies =
$80 per hour for any case type, including dependency & neglect,
truancy, parenting and other
issues.
ODR services are
available at a reduced fee, or for no fee, if a party demonstrates an
inability to pay all or part of the fees charged. On-line
